Have students read the words on the flower centers and decide which vowel sound it contains. Students then place the center on the corresponding flower petal containing either the short or vowel sound.
You can also add a 2 ' x 2' piece of felt for $3.00. This can be included in your take home bag for families to use to retell the story or use it in a literacy center when a classroom felt board is not available. These make great instant centers when used with the large felt piece! Your set also contains a checklist, so families can make sure all of the pieces are returned. Each set will come in a zipper close plastic bag for easy closure. Each felt set also contains two theme related poems or finger plays. |
